John 14:6 "... I am the way, the truth and the life;  no man comes to the Father but by me."

That passage is misinterpreted by the blind and unloving as meaning that a person must know Jesus in order to get into  heaven.   They fail to take into account all of the people of God who existed before Jesus came to earth who obviously never had a chance to know Jesus, yet they will make it to heaven!

Those blind, unloving people will say - well, he was a good person but he didn't know Christ and Christ said he is the way, there's no other way to the Father.  Sorry, but that good person is going to hell because he did not know Christ.  They are wrong!

Jesus speaks all truth, no man comes to the Father except through Jesus, but that is a statement of how things are between God the Father and God the Son when it comes to admitting persons into heaven and does not imply nor is it true that a person must have known Jesus to get into Heaven.

And of course many shall be in Heaven who did not know Jesus because he had not come to earth during their time!  Even so, people who existed when Christ walked the earth in flesh and those who existed after the death and resurrection of Christ who did not know him still go to heaven if they were righteous.  And being righteous simply means not being an evil or wicked person.

Psalm 1:6 "The Lord knows the way of the righteous ...."

The Lord knows the righteous.  They may have not known him, but he is their Creator and he loves them and they will be in heaven with him:

Revelation 5:9 "... [you] have redeemed us God by your blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nations."

It is a fact that not every kindred, tongue, people and nation had an opportunity to know of Jesus.  Certainly not before his time on earth, and for some not during or any time after Jesus walked this earth.  There may even be tongues to this day that have not heard of the gospel of Christ, such as those living in very remote areas of the world.   Out of every kindred, every tongue some of the people make it to heaven.   God confirms there are good people, righteous among every kindred, tongue, people and nation.

Matthew 5:5 "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth."

So for those who ask:  Will God send a good person to hell if they never knew Jesus?  The answer is, NO!  And I back it up with Revelation 5:9.

Matthew 9:13 "... I have not come to call the righteous to repent but sinners to repent."

Lest you think Jesus is being sarcastic and not declaring that there are righteous people:

Matthew 25:35  "[upon the Pharisees] shall come judgment for all the righteous blood they shed."

Further, Psalm 1:6 declares there are righteous people!

It is the evil Pharisee Paul who teaches that there are none that are righteous, taking the writings of God's prophets out of context (Romans 3:10).

Listen to Jesus, he says there are righteous people.  Stop quoting the lies of a Pharisee.  Do you love Jesus or do you love Pharisee Paul?

The evil and wicked must come to the light and if they refuse, there is no other place for them in the after life but hell.

John 3:20  "Every one who does evil hates the light and will not come to the light ...."

Heaven is where the Light is.  God is light, in him is no darkness.  Those who refuse to come to the light will end up in eternal darkness.  Pharisee Paul does evil, he hates the light. God is light, Pharisee Paul hates God!
